Documentation

Calculator is a tool that allows you to enter data in a step-by-step process and perform various calculations with it. It should be noted that in the calculator, you can find filler data that may be either real or fake, depending on the specific calculator being used. If the source of the data is not mentioned, it is most likely randomly generated fake data and we are not responsible for its use. Effective data entry is key when using a calculator.

Data Entry

There are two options for entering data into the calculator: via group area or via Excel.

Group Area

When you use the group area to enter data, you have the option to increase or decrease the number of data groups. In general, data can be separated by commas, spaces, or line breaks. In general, and depending on the calculator used, the first group is reserved for the output or dependent variable, while the following groups are reserved for the input or independent variables.

Excel

To input data via Excel, follow these steps:

Process of how to enter data from excel
  1. Copy the data from a spreadsheet program such as Excel by right-clicking on the data and choosing "Copy" from the context menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C.
  2. Go to the calculator page and click on the area where you want to paste the data.
  3. Right-click and choose "Paste" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V to input the data into the calculator.

When preparing your data for input into the calculator, keep in mind the following:

The mode of organization of data entered
  • The first row is reserved for the names of the features or independent variables (i.e., the variables or columns in your data).
  • The last column is reserved for the label or dependent variable (i.e., the variable that you want the calculator to predict or classify).
  • The remaining rows should contain the data for the samples (i.e., the examples or observations in your data).
  • The data should be formatted as a table, with the features as columns and the samples as rows.

Ensure that your data is formatted correctly before entering it into the calculator to ensure that the calculator can effectively perform the desired calculations.
